SYSTEM 8 ADVANCED MATRIX SCANNER (AMS)

ABI-reparación-electrónica-64

The Advanced Matrix Scanner (AMS) offers new and unique features for the diagnosis and testing of unpowered components. Using a novel approach to V-I signature testing, the SYSTEM 8 AMS increases the coverage of the analysis by varying the frequency of the test signal to observe the response of the DUT (Device Under Test) over a pre-defined frequency range. This can allow problems not detectable with other instruments to be found, leading to a large reduction in the number of failures that occur.

The AMS with its 64 channels (Expandable up to 2048) accelerates data acquisition and testing on devices with a large number of pins, as well as PCBs. Individual channels can also be used for local analysis.

Thanks to its configurable pulse outputs, dynamic tests can be run on trigger devices (triacs, transistors, SCRs, etc.) without having voltage on the board.

SYSTEM 8 ADVANCED TEST MODULE (ATM)

The Advanced Test Module (ATM) is a solution designed for the test and diagnosis of boards and digital integrated circuits of all logic families, such as TTL, CMOS, LVTTL and ECL. The module offers both in-circuit and out-of-circuit powered and unpowered testing. With high specifications and up to 2,048 channels, the module is ideal for component and board-level testing.

The Advanced Test Module is a solution that enables a large number of tests and comprehensive fault diagnosis with great flexibility. Powerful test combinations ensure the best coverage of PCB or component failures and include functional, connection, voltage, thermal and V-I signature tests. A sophisticated yet easy-to-use system, with minimal human intervention, ensures that components and PCBs are tested efficiently and faults are detected quickly.

SYSTEM 8 BOARD FAULT LOCATOR (BFL)

SYSTEM-8-BFL-67

The Digital PCB Fault Detector Module (BFL) is intended for testing TTL / CMOS digital integrated circuits. It has 64 test channels, offers in-circuit and out-of-circuit functional testing of connections and voltage, as well as V-I and thermal analysis. Up to 4 modules can be combined to provide a total of 256 channels (in 64-channel steps), allowing live comparison of good boards with damaged boards.

It features a combination of proven industrial test techniques that provide a high level of fault coverage. Additional tools are provided by SYSTEM 8 Software to further enhance the unit’s wide range of applications.

SYSTEM 8 ANALOGUE IC TESTER (AICT)

The Analogue IC Tester Module (AICT) is the answer to how to test analogue devices. It allows functional testing of analogue integrated circuits and discrete components. All common analogue devices can be tested according to how they are configured on the board. The AICT is also capable of testing all types of analogue and digital components through the well-known unpowered and fully configurable V-I test technique, being equipped with a pulse generator for testing gate triggered components (SCRs, Transistors, etc).

The Analogue IC Tester can be fitted into any PC box with a PCI connection (CD-ROM connector required) or into an external chassis (MultiLink) with USB connection.

SYSTEM 8 MULTIPLE INSTRUMENT STATION (MIS 4)

MIS4 ABI

The Multi Instrumentation Station (MIS4) concentrates 8 high-performance test and measurement instruments in one compact module. Ideal for design, education or general use as part of a workbench, the MIS4 saves you time and space. This station brings together the following instruments:

  •  Oscilloscope.
  • Arbitrary Waveform Generator.
  • Auxiliary Power Supply.
  • Universal I/O.
  • Frequency Counter.
  • Ammeter.
  • Voltmeter.
  • Ohmmeter.

SYSTEM 8 PROGRAMMABLE POWER SUPPLY (PPS)

The Programmable Power Supply (PPS) is ABI’s most ambitious power supply module developed for the SYSTEM 8 range. More than 35 years of product design and manufacturing excellence went into the manufacture of this versatile USB unit that adapts to a variety of test and measurement scenarios. From low to medium volume production testing, to predictive/corrective tasks and PCB troubleshooting.

REVENG SCHEMATIC LEARNING SYSTEM

ABI RevEng Schematic Learner

RevEng offers an effective method for creating circuit diagrams from a sample board in professional quality. The RevEng system comprises PC-controlled continuity measurement hardware, RevWin control software and EdWin, a full-featured CAD package.

RevEng “learns” the connectivity of a sample circuit and produces a NetList (a list of components and their connections). The NetList is exported to EdWin to create professional quality circuit diagrams.

Thanks to it you can reduce the time spent on fault finding and identification, replace fewer components, reduce board scrap, generate professional circuit diagrams, or stop and resume the process at any time, among many other benefits.

JTAGMASTER BOUNDARY SCAN TESTER AND PROGRAMMER

The JTAGMaster Programmer and Tester is a complete and powerful fully integrated solution for testing, fault detection and programming of complex boards including JTAG devices. With this instrument you can increase your test and analysis coverage by accessing components that are impossible to measure with probes. This unit includes:

  • A boundary-scan tester to arbitrarily observe individual pins and then determine their functionality.
  • A programming interface designed to handle industry standard JAM STALP (Standard Test And Programming Language) files and SVF (Serial Vector Format) files to send programming instructions as well as test functions to the device.
